Indie Music Bus listens for musical identity and the personal reason a song needed to exist. Every decision remains independent.
Selection standards
- The artist provides a specific and credible explanation of the song’s personal significance.
- The song has sufficient musical quality, identity, and execution for public presentation.
Independent judgment
Payment for unrelated services, partner participation, promotional support, prior relationships, audience size, and social reach are not acceptance criteria. Indie Music Bus does not sell or guarantee playlist placement, interviews, reviews, Song Stories, or other coverage.
Voices and outcomes
Artist-authored explanations are identified separately from Indie Music Bus commentary. Editing may improve clarity without inventing quotations or changing meaning. Consideration may result in a playlist decision, editorial feature, interview, review, another approved format, or no publication.
