Indie Music Bus listens for music with identity, meaning, and a story worth sharing. Independent artists at every career stage are welcome, and every editorial decision remains independent.
What we listen for
For Of Absolute Importance, we look for a clear and genuine explanation of why the song matters personally to the artist. We also consider whether the music has a distinct identity and is ready to be presented publicly. Genre, career stage, follower count, and industry connections do not determine the outcome.
Fair and independent consideration
Decisions are based on the music, its story, and its fit for the opportunity. Payment, promotional support, previous relationships, audience size, and social reach do not influence acceptance. Coverage and playlist placement are never sold or guaranteed.
What may happen next
A submission may lead to playlist consideration, an interview, a review, a Song Story, another appropriate feature, or simply help us become familiar with the artist for a future opportunity.
