Access is part of the work
Accessibility Statement
Indie Music Bus targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA and aims to make its music journalism usable across devices, input methods, and access needs.
Current provisions
- Keyboard-operable navigation, controls, disclosures, and visible focus indicators.
- Semantic landmarks, heading structure, skip navigation, and accessible names.
- Responsive layouts designed for narrow screens and 200% zoom without ordinary horizontal scrolling.
- Reduced-motion support, no autoplay, and plain-link fallbacks for external media.
External-service limitations
Google Forms, Spotify, video providers, artist websites, and other external destinations are outside Indie Music Bus control. The site avoids eager heavy embeds and provides direct links so core editorial information remains available when those services fail or are blocked.
Feedback and unresolved barriers
A public accessibility-feedback address and response expectation require owner approval before production launch. Until that route is published, existing contacts may reply through their established correspondence and include the page URL, the barrier encountered, and the browser or assistive technology used when comfortable sharing it.
Verification is ongoing
Automated checks support review but do not replace keyboard, zoom, responsive, screen-reader, and real-content testing. Known limitations must remain visible until evidence shows they are closed.
