For labels, publicists, and artist teams

A partnership built around songs that truly matter

A small network for music teams that know which song matters most to an artist and can share the story behind it.

Already working with Walter? Use the partner form to share music. New companies can introduce themselves and request access through the same form. Walter reviews each request before opening the industry submission route.

Prefer email? Introduce your label or PR firm to Walter at indiemusicbus@gmail.com. Walter uses that introduction to decide whether to continue the partner conversation.

Thoughtful choices. Strong stories. A closer listen.

The partner route helps trusted music teams share a small number of songs with meaningful context while Walter keeps every editorial choice separate.

Understand Of Absolute Importance

Who this is for

Music teams who know why a song matters

The first group includes labels and PR firms Walter knows or invites. Managers and artist-development teams can also introduce themselves when they can provide the artist’s own context and choose songs with care.

Artists use the direct submission page. They can share one artist profile every 30 days with a biography and public music links.

What to bring

One particular song and the story behind it

Choose a song tied to a specific experience, memory, turning point, place, relationship, or question in the artist’s life.

Include artist-approved context and accurate release information so Walter can listen with the right frame.

How it works

A short route from introduction to listening

  1. Start with an invitation or introduction. Walter may invite a company directly, and other music companies can request access through the form.
  2. Choose one or two songs with care. Partners may propose up to two songs each month, each with artist-provided or artist-approved personal context.
  3. Add the story and essential links. The partner form keeps the song, context, credits, and listening links together.
  4. Walter listens and follows up when there is a fit. A song may lead to a playlist feature, Song Story, interview, review, or another editorial idea.

Pilot terms

A focused 90-day starting point

  • A small number of invited companies.
  • Up to two carefully selected song submissions per partner each month.
  • After a song is accepted, Indie Music Bus supplies ready-to-share materials and asks the artist or representative for one genuine playlist-support activity.
  • Walter and the partner review what worked and decide whether to continue after the pilot.

What partners receive

A clear route and a continuing relationship

  • An organized route and clear guidance on the songs that fit the project.
  • Attentive listening to a deliberately small number of songs.
  • Ready-to-share artwork and promotional materials for songs that are chosen.
  • A conversation about the editorial format that best fits when something connects.

What partners contribute

Context, selectivity, and genuine audience support

  • Choose songs for personal significance rather than release-calendar convenience.
  • Provide the artist’s own explanation and accurate release information.
  • Support the wider playlist organically through appropriate company or artist channels.
  • Share confirmed publications accurately through the channels that make sense.

Independent choices

Partnership opens a conversation. The music guides where it goes.

Partner participation helps Walter find music and reach more listeners. Walter still makes each playlist and editorial choice based on the song and its story.

External form and privacy

The partner form opens on Google

The partner form is hosted by Google Forms. Google receives connection information when the form opens and handles the information entered there. Review Google’s privacy information before continuing.

Use the form for the requested business, artist, song, permission, and contact details. Keep passwords, financial credentials, medical information, and unrelated personal data out of the form.

Invited partners can reply to Walter’s original email if the form is unavailable. New companies can return later to request access.
